DESCRIPTION

The M0600 Splice Clip is a brass shim used to join SMT component carrier tapes. The individual clip with sharp edges is suitable for use on carrier tapes of all types and widths. Compatible with the MTL00, MTL10 and MTL50 splice tools, the M0600 guarantees a secure connection.

APPLICATION	ADVANTAGES

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place a splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool’s placement pins.

2. Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins, and secure with the clamps.

3. Crimp the handle to connect the carrier tapes.

4. Add a splice tape strip to the cover tape and press firmly to complete the splice
