DESCRIPTION

M0308 Single Splice Tapes are recommended for use with the splice tool and clip. When used

together, they create a stronger connection, especially on larger carrier tapes.

APPLICATION	ADVANTAGES

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Use the cutting tool (MTL20/MTL30/MTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes.

2.Place a M0600 splice clip (teeth up) on the (MTL00/MTL10/MTL50) splice tool’s placement pins.

3.Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins, and secure with the clamps.

4.Crimp the tool handle to connect the carrier tapes.

5.Remove the release liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side.

6.Add a single strip to the cover tape and press firmly to complete the splice.
