DESCRIPTION

M15 series splice tape is used for jointing carrier tapes in the SMT process. It is made of tapes and

polyester film and release paper, and the tape is with superior adhesion.

APPLICATION	ADVANTAGES

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use the cutting tool (MTL20/MTL30/MTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes.

2. Remove the split liner of the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side.

3. Align the cut carrier tapes (cover tape down) with the splice tape placement holes.

4. Place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape.

5. Fold over the second strip to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly.

6. Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splice.
