DESCRIPTION

Single Splice Tapes are used to join SMT component carrier tapes. Pre-cut strips of PET tape are

supplied 4 strips per sheet for 8mm-16mm sizes and 2 strips per sheet for 24mm. 32mm and 44mm

sizes are available upon request.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place a splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool’s placement pins.

2. Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins, and secure with the clamps.

3. Crimp the handle to connect the carrier tapes.

4. Add a splice tape strip to the cover tape and press firmly to complete the splice
